Aro, aka the Ugly Demon (just like the Ugly Duckling), isn't very demonic, despite her Hellish origin. She actually got kicked out of Hell for being too nice. She once tried to get into Heaven, but they wouldn't let her in because of her ties with Satan. So, poor little Aro had nowhere else to go, but to the human world.
In the human world she befriended Tiko, the cat boy who first discovered her on the surface. They have been friends ever since. She's also currently living with him, hiding in his bedroom, as not to be discovered by Tiko's parents. Hmm, maybe there's a bit o' chemistry going on between the two as well?

orign: Aro was a part of the original webcomic plan. Her role, as stated above, was to be Tiko's best friend, after being discovered running around lost in the park. Unfortunately, the idea was dropped. I know that she resembles a cow, and some people even suggested that she be changed from a demon to a cow, but then that'd destroy her story completely. So a demon she stays. Her name is Aro because I wanted her name to sound like "arrow". Although I address her as a "she", Aro is actually genderless*, meaning she is neither a boy nor a girl. I only call her a "she" because she appears very feminine and also displays female behaviors.
_{*I go by the belief that angels do not have any genitals and are therefore neither male nor female. Because demons are "fallen angels", that means they don't have genitals either. So, that is why my demon characters are genderless.}
