An important announcement: please be serious when you're applying for staff. Don't just put "i love eggs" or "can I be staff please????" and send it. Read everything pertaining to the job you want and include all required information. If I continue receiving junk applications, EGraphics will not come back.

Okay, thanks to the petition, EGraphics is coming back. While I work on rebuilding the website, I'll be recruiting new staff since there's hardly any. See below for more information.

EGraphics is looking for staff members!

Applying for staff is very different from what it used to be. Also, there are more requirements you must meet to become a part of the team. Below are necessary qualifications for the various jobs currently being offered for the site. Please keep in mind these are all voluntary and non-paying, so you must be a really dedicated EGraphics patron to join the team.

Graphics Artist

Job Description:
A team member who regularly contributes to to EGraphic's growing collection of premade graphics for its guests.
Qualifications:

• Be at least 13 years of age.
• Fluent in the English language with minimal to no internet lingo (chatspeak).
• Able to communicate regularly with the webmaster via e-mail or AIM/MSN instant messengers (preferred).
• Have access to an image manipulating program such as Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, or The GIMP.
• Have a good sense of design, color and typography.
• Able to meet a monthly quota of two(2) large graphics (website layouts, Neopets userlookups, etc.) OR five(5) medium graphics (signatures, backgrounds, forum sets, etc.) OR ten(10) small graphics (avatars/icons, emoticons, cursors, etc.) OR a combination of the listed graphics types.
• Art examples must not contain copyrighted images, random images you've found on Google, stolen artwork, celebrity photos, and any other content not originally created by the applicant or used without first obtaining the original creator's permission. We are currently not looking for egg artists.

How to Apply:
Use the contact form to send your application. Please include your name (or a name you would like to go by), verify if you are able (or not able to) communicate via instant messenger, and list at least ten(10) examples of your work pertaining to the graphics types listed above (insert them as URLs, NOT links; if they are stored on your computer, you can use Photobucket and/or Freewebs to host them). Make sure to include at least one of each type of graphic. Also include in the application any questions that you may have.

Moderator

Job Description:
A team member who, on a daily basis, watches over the plug-board, chatroom, forum, and any other member-driven area of the website, deleting spam, trolls, and posts violating the terms and user agreement. Moderators are also responsible for suspending violators and reporting multiple violations by a single individual to the webmaster.
Qualifications:

• Be at least 13 years of age.
• Fluent in the English language with minimal to no internet lingo (chatspeak).
• Able to communicate regularly with the webmaster via e-mail or AIM/MSN instant messengers (preferred).
• Have previously or are currently moderating another website or forum.
• Have great online ettiquette and people skills.
• Be online at least 5 hours a day.

Please include your name (or a name you would like to go by), verify if you are able (or not able to) communicate via instant messenger, the websites (URLs) you have moderated/are moderating for, and a list of the websites' webmasters (with contact information) whom I may consult to verify your moderation abilities.
